Today, we’re putting the spotlight on Roxanne, our Director of Media Relations, to learn more about her work, her passion, and what makes her tick. Here’s what she had to share:

  • Current City: Recently relocated back to the Magic City after almost two decades in NYC
  • Team Role: Director of Media Relations
  • Experience: Over a decade in broadcast communications, with about half of that time at Bridgenext. Previously worked in television production for ABC, MTV, and WNBC in New York.
  • Career Highlight: Having the opportunity to take on dual roles at Bridgenext (formerly Definition 6). excelling in my primary role on the Media Relations team while also serving as an Account Director, where I fostered client relationships and drove business growth in a new and impactful way.

  • Favorite Client Projects: A few years ago, I led a broadcast media program that emphasized the importance of seeing your doctor during the height of the pandemic when many were avoiding contact with others. This initiative was crucial in encouraging early diagnosis of illnesses, ultimately leading to improved health outcomes. The experience made me feel like I was truly making a difference by helping people prioritize their health and access the necessary care they needed during a critical time.
  • Activities/hobbies: Travel, podcasting, exploring lesser-known destinations.
  • Last Vacation: Exploring the ancient wonders and breathtaking landscapes of Jordan
