We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead DevOps Engineer to join our team at BridgeNext. The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of experience in Software Development and DevOps practices, a strong background in cloud technologies, and proven leadership capabilities. This role requires a combination of technical expertise, team management, and effective client communication.

Key Responsibilities:

• Mentor and guide a team of DevOps engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
• Lead the design and implementation of DevOps best practices, CI/CD pipelines, and automation processes.
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients regarding DevOps initiatives and strategies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to understand project requirements and deliver effective solutions.
• Drive continuous improvement in development and operational processes.
• Develop and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, Ansible etc.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure high availability and reliability.
• Automate routine tasks and workflows using Python scripting.
• Collaborate with development teams to improve application deployment strategies, architecture, and resilience.
• Ensure security best practices are implemented across all environments and adhere to compliance requirements.
• Troubleshoot production issues.

Must Have Skills:

• 8+ years of experience in Software Development including atleast 3+ years in DevOps role.
• Proven experience in leading and mentoring teams.
• Proficiency in Python scripting for automation and infrastructure management.
• Strong experience with CI/CD pipelines, particularly using GitLab CI.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS.
• Familiarity with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or Ansible.
• Experience with managing artifact repositories, preferably using Artifactory.
• Solid understanding of containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in a distributed system environment.
