Job Description –

As a Resource Manager, you will be pivotal in ensuring our employees and consultants are efficiently allocated to various projects based on their skills, availability, and the project requirements. Your role will involve understanding the team’s skill sets, balancing resource demands, optimizing billable hours, and maintaining high levels of client satisfaction. You will work closely with project managers, team leads, and other constituents to ensure that our resources are utilized effectively and that we meet our business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

·       Assess project requirements and allocate employees to ensure an optimal match between skills and project needs to ensure resources are aligned with client expectations and project requirements

·       Track and analyze resource utilization rates to maximize billable hours, addressing issues related to resource deployment and/or project execution

·       Monitor and adjust assignments to meet changing project demands and priorities

·       Collaborate with delivery, finance, project managers and department leads to forecast future resource needs based on upcoming project pipeline

·       Provide regular reports on resource utilization, project staffing, and capacity planning

·       Maintain clear and effective communication with project managers and team leads

·       Analyze data to identify trends, challenges, and opportunities for improvement

·       Continuously assess and refine resource management processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness

·       Identify skill gaps and training needs, working with HR and Talent Acquisition to address open needs and requirements

·       Develop strategies to improve resource efficiency and minimize non-billable time

Qualifications:

·       Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Project Management, or a related field

·       Minimum of 10 years of experience in resource management, project management, or a related role within a digital consultancy and/or professional services environment.

·       Proficient in resource management and project management software

·       Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills

·       Ability to analyze data and trends to make informed decisions and recommendations

·       Proven ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and build strong relationships
