Team & Project Overview:

We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Front-End Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a Senior Front-End Engineer, you will lead the development lifecycle of our product features, ensuring robust coding practices, architectural strategies, and continuous improvements. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design solutions, and drive technical excellence across our front-end platform.

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

• Lead the end-to-end application development lifecycle, from coding and debugging to architecture strategy and product enhancements.
• Conduct code and design reviews to ensure project execution alignment and accurate planning.
• Drive testing efforts with a test-first mindset to maintain high-quality standards across features and functions.
• Collaborate effectively with engineering, product, and design teams to address technical requirements and design considerations.
• Architect solutions and influence product roadmap decisions, taking ownership of new projects.
• Identify opportunities for improving product features in collaboration with developers, designers, and product managers.
• Maintain a continuous learning mindset, staying updated with emerging technologies to innovate our front-end platform.
• Develop reusable code and libraries for future use, enhancing development efficiency.
• Provide documentation, coaching, training, and support to internal teams as necessary.
• Enhance development tools and test coverage to optimize our front-end platform’s efficiency.
• Lead complex technical projects involving multiple teams within the organization.
• Ensure overall application health and proactively address customer-facing issues.
• Troubleshoot and resolve client issues related to new and existing features.
• Participate in on-call rotation as part of our support structure.
• Conduct interviews to assess potential candidates for engineering roles.
• Optimize user experiences by prioritizing performance, accessibility, and responsiveness.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 6+ years of experience in software development or related field.
• Proficiency in front-end languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Strong experience with modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue).
• Comprehensive understanding of front-end feature development process (design, development, deployment, maintenance, strategy).
• Experience with CI/CD frameworks and front-end A-B testing.
• Familiarity with test-driven development and automation.
• Knowledge of common architectural design patterns, processes, and workflows.
• Experience with micro frontend frameworks and metrics analysis.
• Collaborative problem-solving attitude with strong communication skills.
• Ability to work cross-functionally with engineering, product, design, and customers.
• Analytical mindset with strong time management skills for independent value delivery.
• Willingness to participate in on-call rotation.

Desired Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, physics, mathematics, statistics, or related field; or equivalent work experience.
• Experience designing products with dynamic configuration and layout capabilities.
• Experience migrating from monolithic front-end to micro frontend architecture.
• Experience migrating between JavaScript frameworks, especially Vue 2 to Vue 3.
• Familiarity with Gitlab.
